Purchasing

Our pool kits start at $15,815 request a quote but the price for each pool kit is based on the order. If you’re interested in a pool kit, please contact our friendly team, and we will be happy to provide you with a price.

The prices for our pool kits does NOT include delivery.

This is because Western Australia is a large state, and providing a single fixed price for transport to cover all areas would only be fair to some customers.

Our commitment to keeping pool kits affordable involves being flexible with transport arrangements.

Transport costs are extra to allow for flexibility, recognising that many customers may have existing transport arrangements or connections that can offer more competitive prices than we can. We want our customers to have the freedom to explore these options.

Furthermore, the cost per kit significantly decreases when multiple pool kits are transported to the same region.

Multiple orders for the same region may accumulate as we receive pool kit orders naturally, so if you’re willing to wait, we can collect and transport several orders together, significantly reducing the cost.

If you prefer a sooner delivery but still want to reduce transport costs, another option is for you to check with your community to see if anyone else is interested in a pool. If more orders are generated, they can be transported together, reducing costs for everyone involved.

In our discussions with you, we’ll explore transport options together and devise a plan that makes the most sense for your situation. If you’re willing to wait, we can add your order to a load and send it your way at a significantly lower cost compared to a dedicated truck for your order.

Your satisfaction and getting the best possible value for your pool kit are our top priority.

We can make modifications to meet your needs & desires on many things. Please speak to our friendly team, who will be happy to listen to what changes or additional you’re considering & talk you through if this is possible & what would come with these changes.

You have 11 different colour options to choose from with your Fibreglass Pool Kit. These options can be viewed by clicking here.

Installation

We are a completely online business, so we do not have storefronts or showrooms, which enables us to keep our costs down and pass on these savings to our customers.

Once you know that you want a pool, you can decide on your pool by viewing our pool range online.

Choosing a size and shape can sometimes be daunting for people. We recommend that you jump on your local council’s website and determine your boundary requirements. Once you know these, you can narrow down a size and shape that will work for you.

After you have chosen a size and shape, we can send you a quote for the complete kit. This includes your swimming pool shell, pool filtration equipment, and the documentation that makes up part of your approvals and delivery.

We can also provide additional equipment to get the pool of your dreams.

The process for getting approval to install a swimming pool is different for each council, so we recommend you reach out to your local council and ask them about the process.

Generally, they will have this information easily available on their website so that is a place to check if you want to find the process yourself and not have to wait to hear back from your councils staff.

Maintenance

Ideally performed weekly, regular water testing is crucial to maintaining a healthy swimming environment. Consistently monitor and adjust pH, alkalinity, and sanitiser levels to ensure water balance. Regularly balancing the water chemistry prevents issues like scale formation, corrosion, and algae growth.

Safeguard the smooth surface of your fibreglass pool by using soft-bristle brushes or an appropriate pool vacuum system for routine cleaning. Avoid abrasive tools that could scratch or damage the pool finish. Regular cleaning helps prevent debris buildup, ensuring a pristine appearance and minimising the need for more intensive cleaning efforts.

It is essential to use only pool chemicals specifically recommended for fibreglass pools. Follow the manufacturer’s guidelines for dosage and application. Using unsuitable chemicals can lead to damage, discolouration, or deterioration of the fibreglass surface, potentially voiding warranties.

Stain prevention involves consistent water chemistry maintenance. If stains occur, identify their type before applying a suitable stain remover. Consult with professionals or use recommended stain removal products to ensure effective and safe treatment without causing further damage to the pool surface.

Regular inspection and maintenance of pool equipment are crucial for optimal performance. Follow the manufacturer’s recommendations for maintaining pumps, filters, heaters, and other components. Keep equipment clean, address any issues promptly, and consider professional servicing to ensure longevity and efficiency.

Robotic pool cleaners are generally safe for use in fibreglass pools. Ensure that the cleaner is compatible with fibreglass surfaces and follows the manufacturer’s guidelines for proper usage. Robotic cleaners efficiently remove debris, reducing the strain on other pool systems and improving overall cleanliness.

Manage water chemistry by regularly monitoring calcium hardness levels. Maintaining appropriate calcium levels helps prevent scale formation. Additionally, use scale-preventing chemicals as recommended to inhibit the buildup of minerals on the pool surface and equipment.

Pool Shells

A fibreglass pool shell is the primary structural component of a fibreglass swimming pool. It serves as the foundation and container for the pool water. The shell is crafted using fibreglass-reinforced composite materials, which typically consist of layers of fibreglass fabric saturated with resin.

The manufacturing process involves creating a mould of the desired pool shape and size. Layers of fibreglass fabric are then applied to the mould, and resin is used to bond the fibres together, creating a strong and durable composite material. The result is a one-piece fibreglass pool shell with a smooth and non-porous surface.

Fiberglass pool shells are known for their various advantages, including:

Durability: Fiberglass is a strong and resilient material, providing durability that can withstand the rigours of regular use and environmental factors.

Smooth Surface: The smooth finish of a fibreglass pool shell is not only aesthetically pleasing but also resistant to algae growth and stains, making maintenance easier.

Installation Efficiency: Fiberglass pools are often quicker to install compared to other types, thanks to the pre-manufactured nature of the shell.

Flexibility: Fiberglass pool shells can flex to a certain extent, allowing them to adapt to changes in the ground without cracking.

Chemical Resistance: Fiberglass is inherently resistant to the chemicals commonly used in pool water, contributing to the longevity of the pool shell.

When homeowners choose a fibreglass pool, they are essentially selecting a pool shell that has been pre-manufactured to meet specific design and quality standards, providing a reliable and aesthetically pleasing foundation for their swimming pool.

Yes, we sell our pool shells alone and without everything else in the kit. If you’re interested in purchasing one of our pool shells, please contact our friendly team for a quote.

Factory Seconds

A “factory second” in the context of fiberglass pools refers to a pool shell that did not meet the original manufacturer’s quality standards during the production process. These imperfections or defects can be cosmetic, structural, or both. Rather than being discarded, factory seconds are often sold at a discounted price.

Here are some common reasons why a fibreglass pool shell might be labelled as a factory second:

  1. Cosmetic Imperfections: This could include surface blemishes, irregularities, or variations in the finish that do not affect the structural integrity of the pool but may not meet our aesthetic standards.

  2. Minor Structural Flaws: Some factory seconds may have minor structural issues that do not compromise the overall stability of the pool but may fall short of the our strict quality criteria.

  3. Size or Shape Deviations: Occasionally, a pool shell might deviate slightly from the specified size or shape, making it a factory second even though it may still be entirely usable.

It’s important to note that while factory seconds may have imperfections, they are not necessarily defective or unsafe. In many cases, these imperfections are relatively minor and do not impact the pool’s functionality or longevity. However, potential buyers should carefully review the details of any factory second, understand the nature of the imperfections, and assess whether they align with their preferences and requirements.

Choosing a factory second can be a cost-effective option for those willing to accept minor imperfections in exchange for a more budget-friendly fibreglass pool. Pool Kits WA and WA Fibreglass Pools are reputable manufacturers & we always provide transparent information about the nature of the imperfections and any impact they may have on the pool’s performance.

We do sell factory seconds on the rare occasion that they occur. If you’re wondering if there are any factory seconds available – please reach out to our friendly team and ask.
